The start of the new 2023 season of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship is fast approaching and the T Sport Bernau team are well into their preparations. During the winter break the engineers have been hard at work in our main workshop back in the UK. We are going to be bringing a brand-new race truck to this year’s championship. The team have spent the winter designing and building our new truck with hours of meticulous planning every little detail.
Antonio Albacete is keen to get behind the wheel and we are now beginning our final preparations before we take our new truck out on the track for the first time at the upcoming testing session at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic next week.
T Sport Bernau are also delighted to announce that we will be continuing to work with all of our valued team partners. We are excited to be able to strengthen our relationships with Varta, Truckfit, Masteroil, PE, BPW, Nissens, Teng Tools, Briarwood, MBHA / ZIUR, FTL steering, TRUX, Motordrive Seats and Lunau. We will be competing in all 8 rounds of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship in 2023 with a new venue being added to the calendar in Poznan, Poland. We look forward to welcoming our guests, fans and team partners to events throughout the season.
Our aim for the season is to continue to achieve regular podiums and to add trophies to our collection with our sights firmly set on a top five finish within the championship standings by the end of the season. Chief mechanics Tim and Tom are really excited about the new developments they have been working on and both have a really good feeling about the upcoming season.
We will continue to provide regular updates through our social media channels, keeping everyone up to date with the progress of the new truck build, our final preparations for the season and of course all the on-track action once the season gets underway in May at Misano, Italy.
